Pleased to meetcha, won't you guess my name?
So here we are. Together for the first time, and hopefully not the last.
I tried the inner ramblings blog, and there may have been the odd musing, with a dash of salient point but the truth is I just don't have it in me anymore. At least, not on the internets. The train left the station some time ago and I was so wrapped up the me-ness of being me that I forgot to get on the train even though I had a ticket. But no more.
You don't need to know anything about me or my story, other than I spend a great deal of time on the internet and enjoying the search engine feature like a pot head loves a forgotten roach. I like to search. And travel. The best part about the internet is how far it reaches. Around the world and back again, to cavernous underground subculture to the gleaming towers of the upper crust. You want it, you can get it, or at lest as close enough to it to make your friends think you live it. Whatever.
As I travel about the internet, I come across interesting places, faces, people, items, animals, causes. It's hard to keep track of it all. My memory isn't the greatest. And despite the sage like wisdom that if you truly need it you will remember it I doubt this wisdom factored in the odd blow to the head to disrupt the software if you know what I mean.
So as a challenge to myself, as a way of passing time and cataloging my finds, I aim, no I pledge, to post at least once a day, something I find that tickles my fancy. Brightens my day. Makes me throw back my short hair and shriek "oh god yes" with reckless abandonment. Or at least, makes me smile. Allow me to escape the mundane and enter the fantastical.
So here goes. One post a day, till March 14th, 2012.
